Learn to Ride Three Wheels in One Fun Weekend

We are proud to announce that Atlantic Moto Skills is now the official authorized Can-Am “Rider Education Program” training facility for three-wheeled motorcycles in the Moncton, Riverview, and Dieppe area.

Best described as technology on three wheels, the Can-Am 3 Wheelers are true game changers for many enthusiasts. The Province of New Brunswick offers a special endorsement for three-wheeled motorcycles, available to anyone who does not already hold a motorcycle license. However, we also encourage licensed motorcyclists to take this course — there are several important differences in riding technique that are essential to understand for safe operation. Can-Am has once again supplied us with the Ryker for 2025 to help you complete this exciting course.

Like all our programs, the course begins with a theory and lecture module, typically held on Friday evening, where we meet one another, take care of administrative details, and begin the learning process. We’ll discuss equipment requirements for the course and make recommendations for what to use once you’re out on the road. There will also be interactive discussions on a wide range of topics, including basic maintenance, safety checks, controls, defensive riding techniques, and how to handle potential road hazards, to name a few. We’ll also explore the impressive stability technology that makes Can-Am machines so unique.

The rest of the weekend is where the real fun begins — out on the riding range! We’ll start with the basics: identifying and adjusting controls, practicing low-speed maneuvers, and gradually progressing to higher-speed exercises. You’ll learn cornering technique, emergency stops, swerving, and more, all in a supportive and hands-on environment.

At Atlantic Moto Skills, we strive to create a fun and encouraging atmosphere where you can gain all the skills needed to ride safely on three wheels. Good riding habits always trump bad ones — and with your commitment to continuous learning and practice, you’ll set yourself up for a lifetime of safe and enjoyable riding.

Successful completion of this course earns you a certificate that entitles you to take Service New Brunswick’s (SNB) written test. Passing this test will result in a graduated three-wheeled motorcycle license. We’ll also assist you in preparing for the SNB written exam.

Note: All of our courses require an approved helmet, full-fingered gloves with leather palms, boots that cover the ankles, and — at minimum — a denim jacket and pants.
