LEARN TO RIDE THREE WHEELS, IN ONE FUN WEEKEND

BRP Rider Education Logo - 02

We are proud to announce that we have become the official authorized Can Am “Rider Education Program” training facility for three wheeled motorcycles in the Moncton, Riverview and Dieppe area.

What can only be described as technology on three wheels the Can-Am 3 Wheelers are game changers for a lot of enthusiasts. The Province of New Brunswick has enabled a special endorsement for three wheeled motorcycles covering anyone who does not hold a valid motorcycle license. We do however advise those with a motorcycle endorsement to also take this course – there really are some significant different riding techniques you need to understand to safely operate these machines. Can-Am has supplied us with the Ryker for 2024, to complete this course.

This course, similar to all of our courses, starts with a theory/lecture module, typically on a Friday evening, where we meet one another, get the necessary administrative issues out of the way and begin the learning process. Specifically, we discuss equipment requirements for the course and make recommendations for you after you get on the road.  In addition, there will be interactive discussions on a wide range of topics including basic maintenance, safety checks, controls, defensive riding techniques, and how to handle potential road hazards to name a few. We also spend some time discussing the incredible technology employed by Can-Am to make their machines so stable.

For the rest of the weekend we are out on the parking lot where the real fun begins. It starts out very basic – identifying control location, slow speed manoeuvers, etc. – moving on to higher speeds where we practice turning technique, stops, swerves, etc.

We strive to create a fun environment for you to gain all the skills you need to ride on three wheels safely – good riding habits trump bad one’s every time. These habits along with a commitment to continuous learning and practice, will go a long way to keeping you safe on the road.

Successful completion of our course results in a certificate entitling you to take Service New Brunswick’s (SNB) written test, the successful completion which will result in a graduated license. We will also provide assistance to help you prepare for the SNB written test.

Note: All of our courses require an approved helmet, full fingered gloves with leather palms, boots that cover the ankles and at a minimum, a denim jacket and pants.
